A few days ago, the New Materials Industry Finals of the 5th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2016 was held in Ningbo, the capital of new materials with "books collecting ancient and modern times, and Hong Kong connecting the world". There are 158 shortlisted projects in the new materials industry in this competition, of which 77 participating projects won the Excellence Award, and the phase change microcapsule technology developed by Dr. Xiao of our company is one of them. Zhang Zhihong, director of the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Wang Jianhou, deputy mayor of Ningbo Municipal Peoples Government and other leaders of relevant departments attended the award ceremony.

        The finals of the new materials industry attracted more than 400 spectators, including many new materials practitioners, contestants, investors, industry experts, local college students, media reporters, etc. The competition was also broadcast live on online channels such as the technology and finance Information Service Platform of Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The wonderful performances of new material investment experts and makers on the stage sent a signal to the audience on the spot and on the Internet that Chinas material industry is rising strongly by leaps and bounds. The competition invited five well-known venture capital experts in the industry to serve as final judges. They are: Li Kai, Assistant President of China Merchants Bank Ningbo Branch, Yang Lei, Managing Director of Northern Lights Venture Capital, Hu Yongxiang, President of Zhejiang Venture Capital Group Co., Ltd., and Fu Zhekuan, Chairman of Qifu Capital, and Lin Dongyang, Executive President of Shanghai Fulcrum Investment Management Co., Ltd.

        Yang Lei, one of the main judges of the final, said in an interview with the host after the game: The quality of the contest entries and entrepreneurial teams is getting better year by year, and the quality of entrepreneurs is also improving year by year. Even some start-up teams can see future entrepreneurs. I feel that this years enterprises are very pragmatic, and innovation and entrepreneurship are to do their own business in a down-to-earth manner. Hu Yongxiang, another chief judge, said that the overall level of this years participating projects is very high, and there are many good projects that can replace imports and change the pattern of Chinas materials industry, which makes me feel refreshed and unforgettable. The materials industry is a very hard but strategic industry. As an investor, I am deeply pleased that the companies and teams participating this time are the hope of our countrys materials industry.

        After the completion of all project competitions, Zhang Zhihong, director of the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Wang Jianhou, deputy mayor of the Ningbo Municipal Peoples Government and other leaders attended the award ceremony of the New Materials National Competition and awarded honorary certificates and trophies to all companies and teams that won the rankings.

        Starting a business is a hard process. No matter whether the contestants win a prize in this competition or not, no matter how many difficulties they will encounter on the way to starting a business, we may work together to add a wonderful moment to this era. Since the competition was held five years ago, it has received strong support from local governments and all walks of life.
